Abstract

This paper examines the importance of good governance in the realisation of the right to development. Basically, the paper argues that cormuption is a bane to good governance and consequently. to the realisation of the right to development. Thus, in line with international best practices and with or without the justiciability of human rights before domestic courts, good governance through the support of legislation and strong institutions of government lays an important foundation for the realisation of the human right to development in Nigeria.
